Since we had an appreciation for the craftsmanship and quality of vintage wood furniture, AWHILE AGO ANTIQUES was launched in 1990 for the purpose of restoring beautiful vintage pieces back to their original form and function. It truly gives us a sense of satisfaction to deliver quality and service to our customers as well as creating a challenge for us!
All of the furniture that you see on this website has been completely disassembled and restored to " near original " condition yet being sensitive of it's antique value. Our chosen material in the upholstery of the chairs and rockers is either fine tapestry or leather; mindful of what is most appropriate to the era of the chair. Each piece has been carefully and meticulously restored by hand where our only concern is the quality finished product.

Our merchandise is featured at various antique shows throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin; possibly we may have had the opportunity to meet you personally.
